Nervo
A presentation pointer for the nervous presenter
Logitech sponsored project
"When I give a presentation, the first few minutes are brutal. My hands are sweaty and my heart races, I can never seem to calm down enough to really deliver my presentation the way I had hoped." -Dennis
Nervo serves the needs of a young professional who is incredibly nervous and intimidated by giving presentations. I wanted to design a presentation pointer that would help the user find some comfort while giving a presentation in both form and aesthetic. The ergonomics of the pointer serve both for universal comfort, but also provides an area to rub one's thumb much like a worry stone. Aesthetically, I wanted to create a button interface that was humorous and would lighten the mood, while still maintaining a professional sleek look. The simple button interface also ensures that the presenter will make less mistakes and also the emphasis on the green, raised Forward button helps the presenter easily find the correct button.
